Eating at: The Oyster Shed, London

Jessica Gardiner

Located on the river in the very heart of the city of London with incredible views of the The Shaard and London Bridge the Oyster Shed is the perfect destination for after work drinks, dining with loved ones, private parties and meetings.

With any occupation in London, the thing many of us look forward to towards the end of the week are drinks with colleagues yet as the people who are responsible for coordinating logistics, pleasing everybody is not always as easy as we would hope.

With an abundance of bookable spaces in a venue which offers panoramic sun drenched views across the river Thames, The Oyster Shed is not only a much loved watering hole of any city based Londoner but it is also home to some of the freshest food, finest wines, quality cask ales and a selection of cracking beers.

With a floor to ceiling (two storey ceilings we must add) glass front, a fantastically long bar, a beautiful interior design and a lively atmosphere, we can highly recommend The Oyster Shed for group bookings of any size, for any occasion.

A mezzanine level offers a private bar space large enough for up to 60 guests with an adjoining private dining room making the space an Assistants dream with endless possibilities to cater for both daytime and evening events.

Private dining facilities are fantastic with an extremely spacious room that can sit up to 30 on two tables, AV equipment available for your preferred use and menus to cater to all dietary requirements and times of the day i.e. breakfast, sharing platters and canapes are some of the offers available.

Events at The Oyster Shed are coordinated with the wonderful front of house and events team covering everything from exclusive hires, private hires, birthday parties, weddings and seasonal celebrations. Contact the team for all bookings going forward and take advantage of the rewards scheme they have in place to reward Assistants around the city for their hard work in achieving event success for yourself and your colleagues!
